New York Transit — Black Soil EP Release

We take u on a ride across the best underground house, disco, funk and uk-garage woven by soulful vocals, lush piano chords and warm bass lines all with a HipHop-influenced approach.

This is a night about inspiration, about exploring and respectfully ignoring musical boundaries. A night about dancing and desire to rock the floor and boogie down.

We also will be celebrating Jürgen Bouman’s – Black Soul release on Bouman Records. We have the following artists (in alphabetical order) to guide us trought this night:

Jürgen Bouman – Black Soil

Bouman Records is a Rotterdam based label owned by Jürgen Bouman. The DJ and producer who grew up in Rotterdam lives and breathes the raw musical sounds of the city.

‘Black Soil’ is the label’s first vinyl release. For the artist, ‘Black Soil’ is the Rotterdam asphalt, a fertile soil and platform for his music.

As a father, he passes on the passion to the next generation. His daughter Aaliyah (11 years old) signed her first release with this record. In addition, Byron the Aquarius, Jamie 3:26 and Danou Possel have made their musical contribution.
